An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Technician / Estate Maintenance Operative to join a prestigious private residence in Central Paris.
This is a hands-on position responsible for ensuring the property is maintained to an exceptional standard throughout the year. The successful candidate will work alongside an established household team, carrying out both preventative and reactive maintenance while taking pride in preserving a beautifully maintained private residence.
Please note: Candidates should already be based in or around Paris and be able to commute to the residence with ease.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general property maintenance and preventative maintenance
- Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and decorating repairs
- Monitoring and maintaining household systems and equipment
- Conducting routine inspections and resolving maintenance issues proactively
- Coordinating and supervising external contractors when required
- Supporting the wider household team during principal visits
- Ensuring the property is always presented to the highest possible standard
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience within a private residence, luxury hotel, historic property or private estate
- Strong all-round maintenance skills across multiple trades
- Fluent French is essential; English would be advantageous
- Proactive, practical and highly organised
- Takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards
- Professional, discreet and trustworthy
- Comfortable working independently and as part of an established household team
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a preventative approach to maintenance
